Awaken, O Sleeper

Awaken, O Sleeper, from the deceptions of the external,

And find the truths of the deep that are placed within you.

Be freed from the chains of external conformity,

And take up your walk as a child of God.

Face the vast aloneness and find the one true companion,

Listen in the silence and hear the voice of God.

Hearken to God’s word in and around you,

And begin to discern that which is simply of man.

Open your eyes to God’s work around you,

And begin to see His hand at work within you.

Taste of the Tree of Life,

And be freed from your consuming hunger to know good and evil.

Arise now; arise from your slumber,

Put on the robes of your authority, and take up your inheritance,

O child of the Living God.

Walk with God, and in relationship with Him be transformed.
